Order tags are labels applied to individual orders to help classify and identify them.
For example, a tag could be used to indicate the customer type, the shipping method, or the priority level.
By using both order tags and item tags, eHub Ship provides a more detailed and organized view of your shipping operations, making it easier to manage and analyze data.
Creating Tags
Adding a tag is a simple process:
-
Go to Settings > Tags.
-
Click + NEW TAG.
-
Enter a name for your new tag.
-
(Optional) Add descriptive text.
-
(Optional) Assign a color to your tag by selecting from the dropdown or entering a hex code.
Adding Tags to Products and Orders
To add a tag to a product:
-
Navigate to Inventory Settings.
-
Select the product you want to tag.
-
Add the desired tag to the product.
Note: Any order containing a product with the same SKU will also be marked with the same tag.
Additionally, tags can be added to orders using automations.
See our Automations article to learn how to set this up.
Tags from Third-Party Platforms
Tags from third-party platforms (like Shopify) can also be integrated into eHub Ship, providing consistency across systems.
-
These external tags are automatically imported and marked External within the Tags section of your settings.
-
This makes it easy to distinguish between tags created in eHub Ship and those imported from outside platforms.
