Putaway Lists: Overview and Printing

What is a Putaway List?
A putaway list is a guide that helps ensure items are accurately placed back onto warehouse shelves after they are processed.

You can create and print a putaway list whenever you complete an inventory task that puts an item back into storage. The following tasks will generate a putaway list:

• Receiving

• Bulk Receiving

• Returns

• Voids

• Transfers (Note: Completing a transfer will also print a picklist).

When you finish one of the tasks listed above, a checkbox will appear on your screen giving you the option to print the putaway list.

• Default Printing: The box is checked by default so the list prints automatically.

• Saving Your Choice: If you do not need a printed list, simply uncheck the box. The system will remember your choice and automatically apply it the next time you complete that same type of task.

• Settings: Putaway list settings are linked and managed together with your standard picklist settings.

• Format: Putaway lists can only be printed on standard 8.5 x 11 inch paper.
