Premium Analytics is an advanced reporting and insights suite within eHub. It gives customers visibility into their shipping activity, benchmarking against industry peers, and tools to identify opportunities for improved service reliability, cost savings, and faster issue resolution.

Availability: Premium Analytics is included for customers on Professional, Premium, and Enterprise plans. Basic plan users do not have access.

Key Features

Real-Time Benchmarking

Benchmarking compares your shipping performance against similar businesses (3PLs to 3PLs, brands to brands). Metrics include:

  • Adjustment Blend – Percentage of shipments with adjustments (address corrections, dimensional weight, surcharges). Use this to reduce unnecessary fees.

  • Short vs. Long Distance Blend – Percentage of shipments in Zones 1–4 (short distance, lower cost) versus Zones 5–8 (long distance, higher cost). A heavy tilt toward long distances may signal fulfillment optimization opportunities.

  • Time in Transit – Displays average delivery time across carriers, with future updates enabling carrier and service-level filters.

Transit Analyzer (Delivery Performance Analyzer)

The Transit Analyzer compares actual carrier performance against expected delivery commitments.

  • Filters: Carrier service, ship-from location, destination zone/state.
  • Features: Side-by-side delivery achievement rates vs. cost per package, geographic and service-level trend analysis, and carrier accountability for contract negotiations.
  • Comparison Options:
    • Standard Comparison: Compare against preset carrier delivery expectations.
    • Custom Comparison: Define your own delivery expectations to model shipping strategies.

Example: UPS 2-Day shipments to California may deliver 86% on time at $24.81 per package, while a regional carrier may achieve higher on-time rates at a lower cost.

Exception Monitoring

Centralized visibility into shipments that are delayed, missing tracking updates, or at risk of being lost—without logging into multiple carrier systems.

  • Dashboard Views:
    • By Origin Location – View pickup and delivery rates from specific postal codes.
    • By Carrier and Service – Compare delivery reliability across carriers.
    • By Shipment – Drill down into individual packages, including tracking details and latest scan events.
  • Benefits: Quickly identify carrier or origin-specific issues, investigate delays faster, and contact carriers proactively to reduce customer impact.

Future Enhancements: Add notes to exceptions, remove resolved items, and manage follow-ups directly in the dashboard.
