Inventory transactions represent the different movements of goods within your inventory system. eHub categorizes these into several transaction types to help you track and manage stock accurately.
Transaction Types
- Fulfillments
Records inventory movement out of the warehouse to customers or other destinations.
A fulfillment transaction is created when an order is fulfilled and a postage label is generated. - Adjustments
Used to correct discrepancies or errors in inventory levels.
You can apply adjustments to multiple bins simultaneously. - Receiving
Records the movement of goods into the warehouse from suppliers or other sources. - Returns
Tracks inventory returned by customers or from previously fulfilled orders back into the warehouse. - Transfers
Records the movement of inventory between locations within the same warehouse.
Creating Non-Fulfillment Transactions
You can manually create inventory transactions through the following methods:
- Click the +/- button in the QTY field of an existing location to adjust quantities for that bin
- Or, click the New Transaction button to create a transaction at a new location
Tracking Transactions
All transactions are logged in the product history page, along with any notes added by the user during the transaction.
