The Inventory History page provides a detailed, chronological log of every stock level change, giving you a complete audit trail. It helps you track inventory movement, investigate discrepancies, and maintain accurate counts.

How to Access Inventory History
The history is accessed per product:
- From the left-hand menu, navigate to Inventory > Products
- Search for and select the product
- In the product’s details pane (on the right), click the History icon
- This opens the Inventory History modal, displaying a log of all transactions for that SKU
Understanding Captured Events
Each change in inventory is automatically recorded. The following event types are captured:
- Fulfillment
Triggered when an order is shipped. This decreases the on-hand quantity. - Adjustment
A manual change in inventory. Used for cycle counts, correcting errors, or removing damaged items. Adjustments can be positive or negative. - Receiving
Occurs when stock is received from suppliers. Increases on-hand quantity. - Return
Triggered when a customer returns an item, adding it back into inventory. - Transfer
Movement of stock between bin locations within your warehouse.
Viewing Transaction Details and Notes
Each transaction entry includes:
- User
Shows the team member who performed the action. - Notes
Users can enter notes during manual transactions (like Adjustments).
- Entries with notes show a conversation bubble icon for quick identification.

Filtering Your History
To find specific events or transactions, use the filters at the top of the Inventory History modal:
- Filter by User
View actions by a specific team member. - Filter by Activity
Focus on one type of transaction (e.g., only Returns or Adjustments). - Filter by Location
View changes that occurred in a specific warehouse or fulfillment center.
Use Start Date and End Date to narrow the log to a specific time period.
